What Thomas Thinks of Himself
I don’t understand how some people find it easy to describe themselves. I always want to give insane amounts of detail. Sigh, here is my attempt to edit…
My name is Thomas and I’m 23. I’m currently a recent college graduate who is figuring out his next step. In the meantime, I’m working as a bartender and server to pay the bills. I’m an ISTJ in accordance to the Myers-Briggs Type Personality Indicators. It’s pretty much me.
I grew up watching television, it was my escape, and still is. I watch 30 Rock like mad. Also love Mad Men (and men in general). Two of the most underrated shows on television are Futurama and American Dad. They have far surpassed creators’ predecessors. House is an amazing show because of Hugh Laurie. It’s such an amazingly real character that he pulls off with perfection. Knowing a few INTJs, it’s spot on. This show and Mad Men are ones that frequently make me think about myself and those around me. I’m a better person for them. My guilty pleasure is reality shows: Top Chef, Real Housewives (the trashier ones), etc.
I spend much of my free time reading about current events and politics. I just really enjoy knowing things. I don’t know what I would have done before the internet. I don’t feel like I could have been satiated. I would consider myself someone who adheres to the Third Way when it comes to Politics. Both parties are more extreme than most Americans are. We are somewhere in the middle, and due to the way our electoral system was set up, we are forced to choose a side. Neither party speaks for most Americans. Still, I voted for Obama, and I’m loving his moves to the center.
I try to play tennis when I can. It’s the only sport I play. I love the individualistic nature of it. I only follow one other sportand it’s figure skating, Ice Dance in particular. I love it because of the complexities and its ability to make you feel something. Athletic + Artistic is a great combination.
I’m pretty sure I’ve settled on Law School. I’m trying to study for the LSAT, but not really getting started. I’m not too worried about it. Want to know more? Just ask!
