I get why Madonna would call people reductive. I just don’t get why she would call people reductive when she knew the public was about to see her:

  • blatantly rip off her album cover from a lesser known band.
  • blatantly rip off her lead single from a lesser known band
  • show up two years late to the ‘feature Nicki Minaj train’ 
  • put out one of the most  basic music videos of her career
  • show no interest in pushing forward with any kind of artistic innovation and/or concept
  • etc
  • etc
  • etc.
